Skye Kimura began as an independent Māori cultural consultancy over seven years ago. Trading as Whetūmaiangi, Skye worked with organisations advocating for and providing a voice for Māori. In 2021 she was offered the role of CEO for Tātou which she accepted and set about building a Māori cultural consultancy and agency. Her tight-knit and committed team brought the needs of Māori to the table for government and non-government organisations, ensuring understanding of Māori culture and tikanga.

Skye has returned to Whetūmaiangi – building a team that is kaupapa driven working with organisations to directly or indirectly, positively impact the lives of Māori. Along the way, Whetūmaiangi creates a safe environment for non Māori to engage, learn and understand. Skye has created a network Māori across Aotearoa bringing to bear their knowledge as appropriate, to your kaupapa. Whetūmaiangi will work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your vision for your kaupapa.
